Many poor families in  Al-Muhawit governorate face the effects of climate changes that have adversely affected their lives as many homes have been damaged by frequent floods.

NDEO works hard and continuously to help affected families. Funded by Cordaid and within the Joint Response Project for Yemen 2022-2023 (Addressing Emergency Shelter Needs in Al-Mehwit) our project team with specialized trainers conducted a training course for field teams to enhance their capabilities and skills of assessing and identifying affected homes and transitional shelter that can be rehabilitated.

The project aims to secure safe and sustainable housing for 330 affected families, thereby contributing to the improvement of their living conditions and stability.
